Star Fox 2 is a space shooter that combines fast arcade action with real-time strategy. If both of your pilots wander to the edge of the map, you may not return in time to stop a major attack. The galaxy is enormous, yet somehow every emergency still happens at once.
Standing still in battle is one of the fastest ways to lose. During combat, keep moving, boosting, and performing barrel rolls.
Barrel rolls can reflect enemy projectiles, while boosting helps you dodge attacks or reach targets quickly. You should also brake when necessary to line up your shots more carefully. Players who move constantly survive much longer than players who drift in front of enemy fire like a confused traffic cone floating through space.
This game is addictive because every playthrough feels different. The game never follows the same pattern twice. Enemy fleets move differently, your choices change the order of missions, and different pilots can create new strategies.
